The Zhukova and Pleskovskaya estate
The questionnaire for an estate in Praskovinskaya volost names Evgenia Ivanovna Zhukova and M. I. Pleskovskaya. The property is called “Zalino (dachas)”; its buildings include a two-storey house with 12 rooms downstairs and 8 upstairs.

The December 1918 inspection records call the enterprise “the naval department’s candle works at the Zelino estate in Praskovinskaya volost”.

Entries 64–66 of the fragment read “Candle works”, “Zelino / Khokhlov” and “Dacha of Zhukova and Pleskovskaya” in Praskovinskaya volost.
The fragment’s date and full archival reference are unknown.
Two estates at Zalino
A. V. Shitkov describes two estates belonging to branches of the Kaznakov family, about 100 metres apart. Later owners named include Alexey Gennadyevich Kaznakov and Konstantin Ivanovich Khokhlov. The local-history account of the park associates its creation with Maria and Konstantin Khokhlov and gives the year 1894.
Local-history account of the park
The transfer of the properties to Zhukova and Pleskovskaya and their correspondence with the present park are unestablished. The current protected-area boundary is not treated as the historic estate boundary.
